It’s been seven weeks since Jacob passed. 7 agonizing weeks. In that time, I cannot say we’ve healed. I will say that, as a family, we’ve done the right things. We’ve made healthychoices, sought counseling, cried together and carried on his legacy. Naomi and Ana have been rock stars.
Jacob loved football. He looked forward to the Browns winning the Super Bowl. He got a chance to witness a rejuvenated team this year. In honor of Jacob, please root on your team with all your heart today. Enjoy the game. Curse at the tv. Have a couple of beers (unless you’re a sober friend of mine. In that case, do as I do and have some wings and water). Laugh! Critique commercials.
